Correctly assuming his cast and crew would be wary of such a journey, Denham has told them they're traveling to Singapore, but before they set sail, his leading lady drops out of the project. Needing a beautiful actress willing to take a risk, Denham finds Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts), a beautiful but down-on-her-luck vaudeville performer and offers her the role; cautious but eager to work, Darrow takes the role, and onboard the ship she strikes up a romance with Jack Driscoll (Adrian Brody), a respected playwright hired by Denham to write the script for his latest epic. When Denham and Company arrive on Skull Island, the natives react with savage violence, but they happen to be the least of their worries. Skull Island is a sanctuary for prehistoric life, and lording it over the dinosaurs and other giant beasts is Kong, a twenty-five-foot-tall gorilla who can outfight any creature on Earth. The natives kidnap Darrow, giving her to Kong as an offering to appease the giant beast; Denham and his men set out to find her, with Driscoll bravely determined to save the woman he loves. Eventually, Driscoll finds Darrow and Denham outwits Kong, intending to take the giant ape back to New York for display. But Kong has bonded with Darrow, and his attraction to her proves to be his undoing. Andy Sirkis, who provided the body movements for Gollum in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings pictures, performed similar duties on King Kong, studying gorillas so he could mimic their actions, which were then used as the basis for the special effects crew's digital animation of the great ape.

4. Munich Watch Video
Much as Steven Spielberg followed 1993's special effects blockbuster Jurassic Park with a far more downbeat and personal project later the same year, Schindler's List, in 2005 after tearing up the box office with War Of The Worlds the director closed out the year with a powerful and thoughtful drama about the human costs of international terrorism. The 1972 Olympics in Munich, Germany were supposed to be a peaceful gathering of outstanding athletes from around the world, but on September 5, the games took a sinister turn when eight masked Palestinian terrorists invaded the Olympic village, killing two Israeli athletes and abducting nine others. The kidnappers demanded safe passage out of Germany in addition to the release of Arab prisoners in Israeli and German prisons, but when they arrived at the Munich airport they were met by German police and military forces, and in the melee that followed, all nine hostages were killed. In the wake of the killings, the Israeli government gave Mossad, the nation's intelligence agency, a special assignment -- to track down and eliminate the Palestinians responsible for the death of the Israeli athletes. A young and idealistic Mossad agent (Eric Bana) is assigned to the four-man unit created to wipe out the Olympic terrorists, but while he believes in serving his country, as their bloody work goes on he begins to buckle under the weight of his work, and wonders if he can morally justify his nation's acts of revenge.

4. Ice Age (2002)Watch Video
A team of "sub-zero heroes" band together to save a human infant in this digitally animated feature from Oscar-winning director Chris Wedge, whose unique lighting software (called "Ray Tracing") sets his visual style apart from earlier CGI efforts. Twenty thousand years ago, the Earth is overrun by freezing temperatures in an Ice Age that is sending all manner of critters scattering in the path of encroaching glaciers. When a lost human infant is discovered, an unlikely quartet of misfits forms to return it to its mother: Manny, a depressed woolly mammoth Ray Romano; Sid, a fast-talking sloth John Leguizamo; an acorn-crazed squirrel named Scrat (Wedge); and the devilish saber-toothed tiger named Diego Denis Leary. Before they can complete their mission, the reluctant compatriots will brave pits of boiling lava, dangerous caverns of ice, and even a traitorous plot within their midst.
5. Ice Age 2 (The Meltdown)Watch Video
Those CGI prehistoric critters from Ice Age are back in this inevitable sequel where Global warming is causing a meltdown of the ice caps. It has nothing to do with greenhouse gases, though; this is happening thousands of years ago, and it’s putting the animals who live on the ice in peril. Manny, a mammoth, Diego, a sabre-tooth tiger and Sid, a sloth, are among those attempting to escape from the floods. Manny, who thinks he’s the last surviving mammoth, is surprised to meet Ellie, a female mammoth who was raised by possums and thinks she IS a possum. The animals are threatened by the nasty creatures who inhabit the rising waters….Meanwhile, Scrat, a squirrel, continues his frustrated efforts to hang onto an acorn. Inevitably, the freshness of the original ICE AGE, which was released four years ago, is diminished in this sequel. Carlos Saldanha has replaced Chris Wedge as director, but the formula is much the same, though this time there aren’t any human characters in view. The funniest character is still the squirrel, the only character without a voice, whose antics are very much in the tradition of classic animated films. Actors Ray Romano, Denis Leary and John Leguizamo provide the voices for the three friends, and Ellie is given the distinctive tones of Queen Latifah. The film is distinguished by some fine animation but a routine storyline. Apart from the occasional delightful scene, like the one in which a flight of ominous vultures sing “Food Glorious Food”, ICE AGE 2 is rather ordinary.

The Bourne Supremacy re-enters the shadowy world of expert assassin Bourne (Damon), who continues to find himself plagued by splintered nightmares from his former life. The stakes are now even higher for the agent as he coolly maneuvers through the dangerous waters of international espionage--replete with CIA plots, turncoat agents and ever-shifting covert alliances--all the while hoping to find the truth behind his haunted memories and answers to his own fragmented past. Compelling use of exotic worldwide locations and the muscular cinematic edge brought by vanguard director Paul Greengrass (writer/director of Bloody Sunday) maintain the aggressive style and fresh, non-traditional perspective established in The Bourne Identity: The Bourne Supremacy is the latest entry in a refreshingly new breed of that time-honored genre, the espionage thriller. The Bourne Supremacy is produced by Frank Marshall, Patrick Crowley and Paul L. Sandberg; and directed by Paul Greengrass from a screenplay by Tony Gilroy (The Bourne Identity), based on Ludlum's book of the same name.
